Marc van Hulle is the Treasurer of the Board of Trustees. Prior to becoming Treasurer, Marc served for two years on the Finance Committee. Marc is an accountant who currently works at Novartis Pharmaceuticals as a Global Program Finance Officer supporting the Oncology business unit drug development. Prior to joining Novartis, he was with Idenix Pharmaceuticals from its inception. Marc started his career in Public Accounting in Brussels and then for almost a decade worked for a leading dredging and reclamation company, working and living mainly in Asia (HongKong, China and Singapore) and Argentina. He holds a B.A. degree from Belgium (Ghent) and earned his M.B.A. in finance from Boston College. Marc has Belgian citizenship and speaks Dutch, French and English with working knowledge of German and Spanish. His spouse, Susy, is originally from Indonesia and is now an American citizen. They have one child in Upper School who has been at ISB since Kindergarten. The family speaks both French and English at home.
