Boston's French Network
Staying Connected
Today, ISB welcomes students and families speaking more than 35 languages and representing more than 50 countries. Yet the School’s origins remain rooted in French-American bilingual learning, and the School holds a deep appreciation for families joining us with a strong connection to France and the French community. ISB is connected to numerous French-centric organizations within the Boston area and frequently shares events and special invitations from these partners.
Boston Accueil
Boston Accueil is an association composed exclusively of volunteers, which brings together around 200 French-speaking families living in Boston and its surrounding areas. Boston Accueil is attached to FIAFE, the International Federation of French and Francophone Reception Abroad, a recognized public utility association bringing together 195 reception structures on five continents. Its mission consists of welcoming, informing, supporting, and organizing activities for French, French-speaking, or Francophile people who arrive or live in Boston. Boston Accueil operates thanks to a team of volunteers who lead our various cultural, sporting, family, culinary, and festive activities.
The French Library
The French Library is a non-profit U.S. organization providing the general public with affordable access to language and cultural education programs. While French culture is its focus, the library actively promotes discovering and appreciating other equally important cultures. Through activities, it inspires its diverse community of children, teens, and adults to explore, understand, embrace, and share the richness of their cultures. The goal of the French Library, located in Boston’s Back Bay, is to unite people in the French spirit of joie de vivre to share ideas, establish mutual respect, and make lasting friendships.
FACCNE
The French-American Chamber of Commerce, New England (FACCNE) is a dynamic and influential non-profit organization that fosters bi-national business connections. Its mission is to facilitate and nurture robust relationships between France and the United States and their respective business communities.
