Elementary After-School Programs

The Elementary School After-School Program inspires creativity and fun by offering an environment that is intellectually stimulating and nurturing for children to discover new avenues of interest and talent as they unwind from the academic day.

Our Offerings

Garderie, our After-School Program runs from 3:15  to 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday. There is no advanced registration necessary, meaning any students not picked up by 3:15 PM will join their peers for a fulfilling afternoon of activities until a parent or guardian is able to pick them up from School. Some students attend only occasionally, while others join on a consistent schedule. With Garderie, students have the opportunity to have a snack, tackle homework, ask questions, build, complete art projects, and become a part of a passionate team and community. Garderie is staffed by a full team of ISB employees.

Each season, the After-School Program offers countless Clubs, ranging from Cooking and Farsi to Cheerleading and Storytelling. Clubs are an opportunity for your child to collaborate with other students from different Elementary grade levels. Clubs are overseen by ISB faculty and staff or trusted activity partners and are held on campus.
Clubs are available to students in Pre-K through Grade 5 and are one of ISB’s most beloved traditions. You may even find yourself still using a Cooking Club recipe years later. Recent club offerings, depending on age and season, include:
