ISB’s partnership with BioBuilder provides our Middle and High School students with the opportunity to explore the world of synthetic biology. Through hands-on projects and expert mentorship, students gain practical experience in designing biological systems and solving real-world problems.

BioBuilder’s innovative curriculum, developed by leaders in the field, enhances ISB’s science program by offering students a unique, project-based learning experience in the rapidly evolving field of biotechnology.

Clark Institute

ISB’s partnership with the Clark Art Institute offers students immersive experiences in the world of art. Eighth graders will embark on a two-day, one-night trip to explore diverse art styles and historical periods, deepening their understanding of art history and culture. High school students will also benefit from a short-term artistic residency, working closely with professional artists and educators to enhance their skills.

This collaboration will enrich ISB’s arts education, providing unique learning opportunities beyond the classroom.

Inspirit AI

ISB’s partnership with Inspirit AI offers students a unique opportunity to explore artificial intelligence through a project-based summer program. Designed by Inspirit AI and taught by MIT and Stanford graduates, this program introduces students in Grades 5 through 12 to AI technologies, Python programming, and real-world applications in fields like healthcare and finance.

This collaboration supports ISB’s goal to equip students with the skills needed for the future in an interactive, hands-on environment.

Empowering Future Scientists Through Strategic Partnerships

Internship Program

ISB students had the incredible opportunity to intern with Prof. Muriel Médard’s team at MIT, working on a project focused on error correction in communication channels and image recovery. From July 15th to August 26th, they gained hands-on experience in Python programming and channel coding, building valuable skills in a real-world research environment.

This internship exemplifies ISB’s commitment to providing students with unique, career-shaping opportunities in cutting-edge fields.

ISB's partnership with the Global Young Researchers' Academy (GYRA) provides middle school students with hands-on experience in scientific research. Students work on long-term projects under the guidance of scientists and educators, exploring topics across various disciplines. The program mirrors a PhD curriculum, teaching research skills such as hypothesis formulation, experiment design, and data analysis.

Students explore cutting-edge fields such as chemistry, nanoscience, cardiovascular physiology, and living microscopy under the mentorship of leading researchers at Mass General Hospital.
