We invite you to join us on campus to experience the value of multicultural learning firsthand.

The International School of Boston’s historic campus is located at the intersection of Cambridge, Somerville, and Arlington, Massachusetts - just minutes from downtown Boston and easily accessible by public transportation, walking, or biking. ISB also has three bus routes: Boston (serving downtown and Charlestown), Lexington (serving Newton, Belmont, Lexington, and Arlington), and Winchester (serving Winchester, Woburn, and points north). Additionally, Cambridge residents can use the Cambridge Public School (CPS) bus system for free.

Families within travel distance of ISB are encouraged to join us on campus for an in-person event or Shadow Day. For families exploring ISB from around the world, we offer virtual events and information sessions with a member of our Admissions Team.

Campus Tour

Campus Tours are offered on Wednesdays and Fridays at 8:45 AM, 9:50 AM, and 10:55 AM. Students and parents are invited to attend campus tours, offering an insider’s look at ISB’s classrooms and co-curricular spaces. You’ll also hear for yourself how more than 35 languages are spoken at ISB. To schedule a Campus Tour, please complete this form.

Virtual Experience

You can engage with ISB from any location. Upcoming virtual events are listed in our calendar above. Although our virtual tour will not replace an in-person campus visit, we encourage you to take a sneak peek of the campus here. We also invite families exploring ISB from around the world to schedule an online information session with a member of our Admissions Team.

Shadow Days

After submitting an application, prospective students can visit an ISB classroom for one to two hours. The exact schedule varies by age. Older children are matched with a current ISB student to shadow. Please contact admissions@isbos.org to arrange a classroom visit shadow day.
