In Middle School, ISB students develop a relentless, adventurous sense of curiosity about the world around them.
Building on the Lower School foundation, the Middle School program encourages students to develop creative problem-solving skills and independent thinking, and helps students navigate the challenges of early adolescence and prepare to transition to high school.
Middle School includes grades 6 through 8, and all academic classes are taught in French and English. Students have the opportunity to select a schedule that more heavily emphasizes either the French or English language, depending on their academic interests and future plans.
Middle School students are challenged in the classroom, and their experiences are enriched by interdisciplinary projects, diverse extracurricular activities, exciting field trips, one-of-a-kind overnight trips and Student Council. They leave Middle School empowered to succeed in high school.
