Patrick Hamilton
Patrick Hamilton re-joined the ISB Board of Trustees in 2021. Patrick previously served on the ISB Board of Trustees from 2007-2014 and as its Chair from 2010-2014.
He is a first-generation American of French, Austrian, and German extraction. A native Yorker, he attended the Lycée Français de New York from age 10 to 16. He is a graduate of Phillips Exeter Academy, Yale University, and the University of Virginia School of Law. Patrick relocated to Boston in 1981. During his career as a litigation lawyer, Patrick has worked for private law firms in NYC and Boston; served as a criminal justice adviser to then-Massachusetts Governor Michael Dukakis in the 1980s; was a federal prosecutor in Boston for 13 years; and has been an enforcement counsel for a federal banking regulatory agency for over a decade.
Patrick’s daughter attended ISB for 15 years, from Maternelle all the way through high school, and graduated in 2018 with an International Baccalaureate before attending Wake Forest University in North Carolina. His son also attended ISB from Maternelle through Grade 6.
