Louise Friel

Louise is Franco American, having grown up in Paris with a French father and an American mother. After receiving the French Baccalaureate, she graduated from Trinity College in Hartford, CT, and then completed Montessori Training in Perugia, Italy. Following a period as a Montessori teacher, she worked at Fidelity Investments for the Investor Centers.

Louise is a proud stay-at-home wife and mother of two children who both attended ISB. She lives in Arlington and is currently involved in local volunteer work, most importantly at Arlington EATS. She is a former ISB Parent-Teacher Organization President and long-time school volunteer.  

Louise brings to the Board her deep knowledge of a French school education and an American school perspective, as well as a strong background in parent engagement.
