Charlotte Hamill

Charlotte is a Principal at Bracebridge Capital, where she is the co-head of the firm’s structured products group, overseeing portfolio managers and investments across its global ABS portfolio. Bracebridge is a Boston-based hedge fund manager with approximately $12 billion under management. For over 30 years, the firm has focused on generating returns that are largely uncorrelated with broad moves in equities, currencies, and rates. Charlotte also leads the evaluation of new investment opportunities across environmental markets, commodities, and infrastructure finance. She plays a central role in guiding the development of the firm’s risk analytics, the use of artificial intelligence and machine learning tools, and technology infrastructure. Since joining the firm in 2006, she has been a portfolio manager for a wide range of investments, including commercial real-estate bonds, synthetic indices, loan portfolios, direct asset holdings, and other bespoke structures. She recently led Bracebridge’s pro bono advisory work for the Tropical Forest Forever Facility (TFFF), a structured finance initiative to combat deforestation announced at COP30, which combines Bracebridge Capital's expertise in structuring solutions with emerging markets.

Charlotte graduated cum laude from Harvard University with an A.B. in Applied Mathematics and Economics and a citation in French. She also graduated from Noble and Greenough School. She serves on the Board of the Harvard Kent Partnership and was previously a member of the Brigham and Women’s Board of Overseers (prior to its merger with MGH). Charlotte and her husband, Brian, live in Charlestown with their family, including Scout (Grade 7), Thora (Grade 5), Dash (Grade 3), and Nessa.
