Dr. Florence Bourgeois

Dr. Florence Bourgeois is the Chair of the Board, Chair of the Advancement Committee, Chair of the Executive, and a member of the Finance Committees and Committee on Trustees. She has been a Trustee since 2014. Florence is a physician specializing in pediatric emergency medicine at Boston Children’s Hospital and Harvard Medical School. She holds a B.S. degree from Yale University and received her M.D. from Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis. She earned a Master’s degree in public health from the Harvard School of Public Health. Florence has dual Swiss and American citizenship and was raised speaking French and German. Her husband, Andrew, is an American citizen. They have four children who have benefited from the ISB experience; all four began their schooling in the Petite Section at ISB and are bilingual with Swiss and American citizenship. The family speaks both French and English at home.
