Farewell from the 2009-2010 PTO Leadership Committee

Dear Parents, Students, Teachers, and Members of the Administration,

We would like to thank the entire ISB community for your energy, time, and devotion in the various fundraisers and activities that the ISB Parent-Teacher Organization (PTO) organized and sponsored this school year.

This year, the PTO supported 26 enrichment programs for our children that were all funded through various fundraising activities including: the Bread Sale, the Holiday Boutique, Holiday Baskets, the Springfest, Innisbrook and other generous donations.  In addition, the PTO organized events for our community such as the Tour Around the World, the Prequinox Party, and Teacher & Staff Appreciation Day.  These activities and events would not have been possible without the support of the various committees, the Enrichment coordinators, the room parents and all other great volunteers. Together we achieved the PTO’s mission to increase the sense of community, enhance school spirit, promote enthusiasm for learning and encourage students to contribute positively to society.

While the Welcoming Committee is already preparing the welcoming of new families to ISB, we want to take the opportunity to say goodbye to all the families, teachers and students who will leave ISB. All our best wishes, we will miss you!

We also congratulate the new elected PTO Leadership Committee members and wish them a very successful 2010-2011 school year.
